Examples: The song "Fame" by David Bowie....my daughter thought he was singing "I got bangs....bangs bangs... another one was she heard an old song on the radio and tried to describe it. "Mom it was so wierd a lady w/a deep voice was singing "I wanna talk like llamas do" (I figured she meant Eutherymics..I wanna talk like LOVERS do) I 'm interested and need a laugh thanks!

Reply:My cousin thought Bob Seger was singing, "Joe's gone off to fry an egg", instead of "Joe's gone off to Fire Lake", despite the song being called "Fire Lake".





And just about everyone I know thinks the song "Bennie and the Jets" says that Bennie has electric BOOBS instead of electric BOOTS.

Reply:This is a very old one, and a very risky one if you don't concentrate. It's called The Pheasant Plucker's Song. It has many verses, and the tongue twisters are hilarious even if you don't miss a syllable! Think about it.

and my friend turns and says "what are you saying" and I tell him "loving Michiko", I swore the band was saying "loving Michiko" not "never let you go", I thought they were singing about some japanese girl named Michiko. Honest!
